V2 Art Project Curriculum invites students into the artistic traditions of the Medieval world through hands-on projects rooted in history, culture, and craft.

Students explore Medieval tile painting, mosaic work, shield design, egg tempera painting, Viking rune studies, and a Māori Koru project, encountering artistic expressions from the Middle East, Byzantine Empire, England, Norse and Germanic cultures, and the Māori people.

Through working with a variety of artistic mediums, students develop patience, dexterity, creativity, and problem-solving skills, while gaining a deeper appreciation for the process of creation itself.
